What is CVE-2018-18069?
The WPML (Sitepress Multilingual CMS) plugin prior to version 3.6.3 for WordPress is susceptible to a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This flaw arises from improper handling of the locale_file_name_ parameter, such as locale_file_name_en, in authenticated requests to theme-localization.php within wp-admin/admin.php. Exploitation of this vulnerability could allow attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by unsuspecting users, potentially compromising the integrity of the site.
