CVE-2018-19041
6.1MEDIUM
What is CVE-2018-19041?
The Media File Manager plugin version 1.4.2 for WordPress contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability. An attacker could exploit this flaw by sending a crafted request to the wp-admin/admin-ajax.php URI, using the dir parameter in the mrelocator_getdir action. This could allow unauthorized users to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the user's browser, potentially leading to data theft or site compromise. Website administrators are advised to update the plugin to mitigate this security risk.
