Summary
The Duplicator plugin for WordPress, prior to version 1.3.0, is susceptible to a vulnerability stemming from the improper handling of values within its installer script. This flaw allows the installer script to replace values in WordPress configuration files without adequate escaping, potentially leading to the execution of arbitrary code if the installer script remains on the server. This oversight poses a significant risk, especially for sites that do not remove the installer script post-installation. Administrators are urged to update the plugin immediately and ensure that any residual files are deleted to safeguard against unauthorized access and exploitation.
