What is CVE-2018-5669?
A Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability has been identified in version 2.1 of the Read-and-Understood plugin for WordPress. This flaw allows unauthorized actions to be triggered on behalf of authenticated users via manipulated requests sent to the wp-admin/options-general.php endpoint. Exploiting this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized privilege escalation and unauthorized data manipulation, presenting a serious risk to the security of WordPress sites using this plugin.
