What is CVE-2019-11228?

Gitea, a popular self-hosted Git service, contains an input validation flaw in repo/setting.go where it fails to properly validate the Form.MirrorAddress before calling the SaveAddress function. This vulnerability, present in versions prior to 1.7.6 and 1.8-RC3, could potentially allow unauthorized manipulation of address fields, leading to serious security implications for users relying on the integrity of their repository settings.
