What is CVE-2019-12143?
A security issue exists in the SSHServerAPI.dll component of Progress WS_FTP Server 2018 prior to version 8.6.1. By leveraging a Directory Traversal flaw, an attacker can manipulate the SCP protocol to craft a specially patterned string. This exploitation can lead to the disclosure of sensitive WS_FTP usernames and relevant filenames, posing a significant information security risk.
