What is CVE-2019-12596?

A cross-site scripting vulnerability exists in Zoho ManageEngine AssetExplorer, where improper handling of user inputs in the SoftwareListView.do endpoint allows an attacker to inject malicious scripts via the swType or swComplianceType parameters. This issue could potentially enable unauthorized actions by executing scripts in the context of the user’s session.
