CVE-2019-17550
6.1MEDIUM
What is CVE-2019-17550?
The Blog2Social plugin for WordPress, prior to version 5.9.0, is vulnerable to a Cross Site Scripting (XSS) attack. This vulnerability allows attackers to inject and execute arbitrary HTML and JavaScript code through the 'b2s_id' parameter. The risk escalates when an Administrator is logged in, as a malicious URL can trigger reflected XSS and execute harmful scripts within the context of their session. Website administrators are urged to update to the latest version to mitigate potential security risks.
