What is CVE-2020-35589?
The Limit Login Attempts Reloaded plugin for WordPress, prior to version 2.17.4, contains a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows an attacker to manipulate the effect of the wp-admin/options-general.php?page=limit-login-attempts&tab= endpoint. By crafting a malicious URL, an attacker can trick an administrator into executing harmful code. This occurs when unsafe user input is reflected back by the vulnerable plugin and executed in the victim's web browser, potentially compromising the security of the affected site.
