What is CVE-2020-35939?

The Team Showcase plugin for WordPress suffers from a PHP object injection vulnerability that allows remote authenticated attackers to inject arbitrary PHP objects. This is due to the insecure unserialization of data supplied within crafted payloads through the AJAX interface when the action is set to 'team_import_xml_layouts'. Exploitation of this vulnerability enables attackers to potentially execute malicious code on the server, leading to unauthorized actions and data compromise.
