What is CVE-2020-36705?

The Adning Advertising Plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to upload arbitrary files due to insufficient validation of file types in the _ning_upload_image function. This flaw, present in versions up to and including 1.5.5, can potentially enable attackers to exploit the server, leading to remote code execution.
