What is CVE-2020-36739?
The Feed Them Social plugin, used for creating galleries of posts, videos, and photos on WordPress sites, has a CSRF vulnerability that affects all versions up to 2.8.6. This security flaw arises from inadequate nonce validation in the my_fts_fb_load_more() function. As a consequence, attackers can trick legitimate site administrators into executing unauthorized actions. If successful, these attacks can lead to unauthorized data exposure or manipulation by loading feeds through forged requests without the need for user authentication.
