Summary

The Custom Field Template plugin for WordPress has a security flaw that allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities. Specifically, in versions up to 2.5.1, the plugin lacks proper nonce validation in the edit_meta_value() function. This oversight enables attackers to manipulate meta field values by tricking a site administrator into performing unintended actions, such as clicking a malicious link, potentially compromising the integrity of the WordPress site.
