Summary
The Code Snippets plugin for WordPress versions prior to 2.14.0 exposes a serious vulnerability due to insufficient verification of the HTTP Referer header on its import menu. This weakness allows attackers to perform unauthorized actions by leveraging unsuspecting users’ sessions, enabling them to execute arbitrary code snippets without proper permissions, potentially leading to severe consequences for site integrity and security.
