What is CVE-2021-29134?

The avatar middleware in Gitea versions before 1.13.6 is susceptible to a directory traversal vulnerability. This flaw permits an attacker to craft a malicious URL that can be used to access files and directories outside of the intended root directory. By leveraging this vulnerability, unauthorized users could potentially view sensitive files on the server, which could lead to further exploitation.
