What is CVE-2021-47979?

The Backup and Restore Plugin for WordPress version 1.0.3 is vulnerable to an arbitrary file deletion flaw. This vulnerability allows authenticated users to manipulate AJAX requests and delete files from the WordPress installation. By crafting specific POST requests to the admin-ajax.php endpoint, attackers can exploit this weakness and potentially compromise the integrity of the website by removing essential files.
