Summary

The WP-Invoice plugin for WordPress versions up to 4.3.1 is susceptible to a security issue due to inadequate Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection when updating its settings. This lack of defense allows an authenticated attacker to alter these settings, introducing malicious XSS payloads. Furthermore, the plugin fails to properly sanitize and escape some of the settings, compounding the security risks and potentially leading to unauthorized actions within a compromised WordPress environment.

Affected Version(s)

WP-Invoice 0 <= 4.3.1

Exploit Proof of Concept (PoC)
