What is CVE-2022-20089?

The AEE driver from MediaTek is susceptible to a memory corruption issue resulting from active debug code. This vulnerability can enable local users to escalate privileges, allowing them to execute operations with system-level permissions. Notably, the exploitation of this vulnerability does not require any user interaction, making it particularly concerning for devices leveraging the affected driver.
