What is CVE-2022-21781?

The WLAN driver for MediaTek products is susceptible to an out of bounds write vulnerability due to a failure to perform adequate bounds checking. This flaw allows for potential local escalation of privileges, which could enable a malicious actor to execute operations with elevated system privileges.
