What is CVE-2022-28219?

The Cewolf component in Zoho ManageEngine ADAudit Plus prior to version 7060 is vulnerable to an unauthenticated XML External Entity (XXE) injection. This vulnerability can be exploited by attackers by sending specially crafted XML data that can gain access to sensitive files on the server and lead to remote code execution. The exploitation of this weakness can significantly compromise system integrity and confidentiality, allowing malicious actors to perform unauthorized actions within the affected application.
