What is CVE-2022-29153?
HashiCorp Consul and Consul Enterprise versions up to 1.9.16, 1.10.9, and 1.11.4 are vulnerable to a server-side request forgery (SSRF). This occurs when the Consul client agent processes redirects from HTTP health check endpoints without proper validation, potentially allowing attackers to manipulate requests and access unauthorized internal services. The issue is resolved in versions 1.9.17, 1.10.10, and 1.11.5.
