What is CVE-2022-3402?

The Log HTTP Requests plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping mechanisms. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit the system by manipulating HTTP requests. An attacker can trick an administrator or an authenticated user into executing a crafted action, leading to the injection of arbitrary web scripts into affected pages. When these pages are accessed, the scripts can run in the context of other users, potentially compromising sensitive information and site integrity.
