Summary

The WP User plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in its settings parameters. This flaw impacts versions up to and including 7.0. Only authenticated users with administrator-level permissions and above can exploit this vulnerability, enabling them to inject malicious web scripts onto pages. When these pages are accessed, the injected scripts execute, posing a significant risk in multi-site installations and where unfiltered_html option is disabled.
