What is CVE-2022-4693?

The User Verification plugin for WordPress, prior to version 1.0.94, exhibits an authentication bypass vulnerability. This flaw allows a malicious user to circumvent authentication processes by utilizing only the public username of an account. Should the attacker acquire a valid username, they can potentially escalate privileges and gain unauthorized administrative access to the website, thereby compromising the integrity and security of the system.
