What is CVE-2022-4746?

The FluentAuth WordPress plugin versions prior to 1.0.2 exhibit a vulnerability that allows attackers to bypass IP-based restrictions. The plugin incorrectly prioritizes IP addresses from specific HTTP headers over the standard PHP REMOTE_ADDR variable. This flaw can allow malicious users to evade security measures that are intended to block unwanted access based on their IP address, thereby compromising the effectiveness of the plugin's security features.
