Summary
The User Role plugin by BestWebSoft prior to version 1.6.7 is susceptible to a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability. This flaw allows attackers to craft malicious requests that can be submitted by authenticated users unknowingly, resulting in unauthorized modifications to user role capabilities. Exploiting this vulnerability could permit attackers to escalate user privileges, grant themselves or other users unnecessary access to sensitive functionalities within the WordPress environment, thereby compromising the overall integrity of the site.
