Summary
The ProfileGrid plugin for WordPress, prior to version 5.3.1, contains a significant security flaw in its AJAX endpoint responsible for resetting user passwords. This vulnerability allows individuals with minimal access rights, such as subscribers, to reset the passwords of any user accounts, including those with Administrator privileges. This poses a serious risk as it enables unauthorized access to sensitive data and functionalities within WordPress sites.
