What is CVE-2023-1155?

The Cost Calculator plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate sanitization of the nd_cc_meta_box_cc_price_icon parameter. This vulnerability affects versions up to and including 1.8. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level or higher permissions can exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts into pages. These scripts will execute when the affected page is accessed by users, potentially compromising user data and website integrity.
