What is CVE-2023-1403?

The Weaver Xtreme Theme for WordPress is susceptible to a stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate escaping of the profile display name in versions up to 5.0.7. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers, possessing contributor-level or higher permissions, to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts execute automatically whenever a user accesses the affected pages, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
