What is CVE-2023-1809?

The Download Manager plugin for WordPress prior to version 6.3.0 contains a serious information leakage issue. It exposes master key information without requiring authentication, enabling attackers to gain unauthorized access to download arbitrary files that are meant to be password protected. This vulnerability poses significant risks to site integrity, potentially allowing malicious actors to exploit these weaknesses to retrieve sensitive data.
