CVE-2023-1977
8.8HIGH
What is CVE-2023-1977?
The Booking Manager plugin for WordPress prior to version 2.0.29 lacks proper validation of URLs entered in its admin panel and shortcodes used to display events from remote .ics files. This oversight enables an attacker with minimal privileges, such as a Subscriber, to execute Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) attacks against the internal network of the site, potentially leading to unauthorized access to sensitive resources.
