What is CVE-2023-2359?

The Slider Revolution plugin for WordPress, up until version 6.6.12, is vulnerable to an arbitrary file upload issue. This vulnerability arises because the plugin fails to properly validate the authenticity of image files during the import process. As a result, attackers could potentially upload malicious files, leading to the risk of remote code execution, especially on servers configured in vulnerable ways.
