What is CVE-2023-2714?
The Groundhogg plugin for WordPress is susceptible to unauthorized data alterations due to a missing capability check in the 'check_license' functions. This vulnerability affects versions up to and including 2.7.9.8, allowing authenticated users with subscriber-level permissions or higher to modify the license and support license keys. Although the keys can only be changed to valid ones, this weakness poses a risk as it could potentially lead to license mismanagement.
