What is CVE-2023-2982?
The WordPress Social Login and Register plugin developed by MiniOrange is susceptible to an authentication bypass vulnerability due to weak encryption during login validation. Attackers with knowledge of an existing user's email address can exploit this flaw to gain unauthorized access as that user, including administrative accounts. This issue exists in versions prior to 7.6.4 and has been fully mitigated in version 7.6.5.
