What is CVE-2023-3360?
The Weaver Show Posts plugin for WordPress, prior to version 1.8.1, contains a vulnerability that allows for PHP object injection via improperly unserialised content from imported files. This vulnerability can be exploited when a user with elevated privileges imports a malicious file into the blog. If such a file is processed, and a suitable gadget chain exists, it could lead to unauthorized actions or data leakage due to the creation of rogue PHP objects.
