What is CVE-2023-3869?

The wpDiscuz plugin for WordPress has a security issue that allows unauthorized modification of comment ratings. Due to a missing authorization check in the voteOnComment function, this vulnerability can be exploited by unauthenticated users to unjustly alter the ratings of comments. This can lead to misleading information and user manipulation, affecting the overall integrity of the commenting system.
