What is CVE-2023-41663?
The WP Bannerize Pro plugin, developed by Giovambattista Fazioli, is vulnerable to an unauthenticated reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) attack. This flaw, present in all versions up to 1.6.9, allows attackers to inject malicious scripts into web pages viewed by users. If successfully exploited, an attacker could potentially execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of the victim, leading to data theft or manipulation, session hijacking, or redirecting users to malicious sites.
