The EmbedPress plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the 'embedpress_calendar' shortcode. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access and higher to inject arbitrary scripts into web pages. Consequently, these scripts can execute whenever a user visits an affected page, leading to potential data compromise and session hijacking.
