What is CVE-2023-4500?
The Order Tracking Pro plugin on WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers to exploit stored cross-site scripting through the order status parameter. Due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, an attacker with admin privileges can inject malicious scripts. This risk is particularly pronounced in multisite installations and where the setting to allow unfiltered HTML is disabled. Exploitations may lead to an attacker executing arbitrary scripts when a user interacts with compromised pages.
