What is CVE-2023-45584?

A double free vulnerability has been identified in multiple versions of Fortinet's FortiOS, FortiProxy, and FortiPAM products. This issue allows a privileged attacker to execute arbitrary code or commands by sending specially crafted HTTP or HTTPS requests. The flaw, classified under CWE-415, affects FortiOS versions 7.4.0, 7.2.0 to 7.2.5, and earlier than 7.0.12, as well as FortiProxy versions 7.4.0 to 7.4.1, 7.2.0 to 7.2.7, and earlier than 7.0.13. Additionally, FortiPAM versions 1.1.0 to 1.1.2 and earlier than 1.0.3 are at risk.
