What is CVE-2023-4773?
The WordPress Social Login plugin is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes in the 'wordpress_social_login_meta' shortcode. Attackers with contributor-level permissions can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts, which are executed whenever a user accesses a compromised page, leading to potential data theft or malicious actions being performed on behalf of the user.
