What is CVE-2023-4861?

The File Manager Pro plugin for WordPress, prior to version 1.8.1, presents a significant security risk by allowing admin users to upload arbitrary files. This vulnerability can be exploited in misconfigured environments, such as multisite installations, where an admin should not have unrestricted access to the filesystem. The result is a potential for remote code execution, which could lead to unauthorized access and control over the server.
