Summary

The WPvivid Backup Plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in the admin settings—specifically the backup path parameter. This flaw affects versions up to and including 0.9.89, enabling authenticated attackers with administrator-level permissions to inject arbitrary scripts. The injected scripts can execute whenever a user visits a compromised page.
