What is CVE-2023-5416?

The Funnelforms Free plugin for WordPress is susceptible to unauthorized data modification due to the absence of a capability check in the fnsf_delete_category function. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 3.4, allowing authenticated attackers with subscriber-level permissions and higher to delete categories, potentially leading to the loss of critical data and disrupting site management.
