The Jquery News Ticker plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers, with contributor-level permissions or higher, to exploit insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Through the 'jquery-news-ticker' shortcode, an attacker can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages.
