What is CVE-2023-5957?
The Ni Purchase Order for WooCommerce WordPress plugin, up to version 1.2.1, suffers from a significant vulnerability due to improper validation of logo and signature image files in the settings. This oversight allows a high-privileged user to upload arbitrary files to the web server. Consequently, this could lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE) by enabling the upload of malicious web shell scripts, which could compromise the server and lead to unauthorized access or data breaches.
