What is CVE-2023-5991?

The Hotel Booking Lite plugin for WordPress prior to version 4.8.5 is susceptible to vulnerabilities due to insufficient validation of file paths from user input. This oversight permits attackers to engage in unauthorized actions, including downloading and deleting files from the server without proper authentication. Additionally, the lack of Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection exacerbates these issues by allowing unauthenticated users to exploit these weaknesses.
