What is CVE-2023-6954?

The Download Manager Pro plugin for WordPress is exposed to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes in its shortcodes. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher to inject malicious scripts into pages. When users access these compromised pages, the injected scripts execute, potentially jeopardizing user data and the site's integrity.
