What is CVE-2023-7061?
The Advanced File Manager Shortcodes plugin for WordPress allows authenticated users with contributor access or higher to upload arbitrary files to the server. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 2.5.3 and could potentially allow an attacker to execute remote code on the server, thus compromising the entire WordPress site. Site administrators are advised to update their plugin to the latest version to mitigate risks associated with unauthorized file uploads.
