What is CVE-2023-7228?

The illi Link Party! plugin for WordPress, up to version 1.0, has been identified to have a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability. This flaw arises from insufficient sanitization and escaping of certain parameters, enabling unauthenticated users to inject malicious scripts into web pages. If exploited, this vulnerability could compromise the security of affected websites, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the context of the user’s session.
